CSCE 631: Programming Environments in AI: Intelligent Agents and Multi-Agent Systems
Final Projects
Students will define a semester project, intended either for an individual or for a 2 to 4 person team. We will use some time in class for initial development and brainstorming of ideas so that the instructor can identify overlaps in interests, or help steer students with overlapping ideas together.
Reports and presentation
There are two reports required; reports are needed per team, not per individual.
- An initial single page proposal, identifying a topic, listing the team, giving a statement of the proposed approach, and intended evaluation. The due date for this is Wednesday March 27th.
- A final report (of approximately 4-6 pages in length, IEEE 2-column format) describing the project as implemented and evaluated. The final report is due on April 30th.
- We will have class presentations on April 29th and 30th; you should expect to deliver a 15-20 minute long talk, which should include a demo of your working system. The exact time available will depend on the number of teams formed.
Project grades will be determined by both the instructor's review of the project and student's description of their and other member's work.
Programming for projects
It is expected that the project will involve code development. This can be done in any language and operating system of your choice on machines to which you have access.
